The Inauguration of Dr. Li As The Vice President of The World Federation Of China Spine Health Professional Committee
From July 15th to 17th, 2016, the inaugural meeting of the World Federation of China Spine Health Professional Committee and the first World Spine Health Forum were held in Beijing. More than 600 experts and scholars from 23 countries and regions including China, the United States, Canada, Russia, Malaysia, and New Zealand attended the event.
The meeting elected President Wei Yizong of Guangming Orthopaedic Hospital in Changping District, Beijing as the chairman, and Professor Li Qiangwei of Li's Pharmaceutical Group as the vice chairman.
Professor Li Tongsheng, former president of the famous Hubei Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, director of the Institute of Orthopedics and Traumatology, father of Professor Li Qiangwei, a leading Chinese medicine industry, chairman of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine, former deputy minister of health and director of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine She Jing, He Jiesheng, President of China Elderly Health Care Association, Shi Qi, former President of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and TCM orthopaedic expert, and Zou Jianhua, Director of the Academic Department of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine and other leaders attended the inaugural meeting.
Guaranteeing the health of the spine is a major subject and a huge systematic project. It has received extensive attention from the medical community and related industries around the world. The construction of related disciplines continues to develop, and academic exchanges are increasingly active. The establishment of the Spine Health Professional Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine strengthens the communication between domestic and overseas institutions or groups engaged in spine health research, teaching, medical treatment, production and other related personnel, and provides support for academic exchanges and cooperation in TCM spine health, standard research and formulation, achievement promotion and talents. Cultivation and sharing of scientific and technological information resources to build an international exchange platform.
The World Federation of Chinese Medicine also approved the establishment of the Standard Examination Committee of the Spine Health Professional Committee, which reviewed the "Traditional Chinese Medicine Chiropractic Technical Operational Specifications and Spine Sub-Health Diagnosis Standards" and "Traditional Chinese Chiropractic Physician Professional Technical Level Evaluation Standards". The smooth and successful convening of the inaugural meeting of the World Federation of China Spine Health Professional Committee and the first World Spine Health Forum marks a new level of Chinese medicine chiropractic. In the future work, the professional committee will carry out extensive academic research and exchanges under the guidance of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine, continuously improve the technical level of TCM chiropractors, and contribute to the spinal health of people all over the world.
Vice President Li Qiangwei will lead overseas professionals engaged in spine health to learn and implement technical operating standards and spine sub-health diagnosis standards, and make the traditional Chinese medicine spine health natural therapy technology more exquisite, so that more patients can get better treatment.
